He has practiced Corporate Commercial Law, Real Estate and Intellectual Property Rights Law in Nigeria Since being called to the Nigeria Bar in 2005.
He has acquired expertise in the areas of Real Estate Legal Advisory in all ramifications especially regarding comprehensive due diligence and perfection of titles in real capital assets. A good draftsman and consultant to numerous corporate clients regarding secured credit transactions, corporate and project finance. He heads our Real Estate/Commercial Practice division
He is presently practicing as a Corporate Law and Real Estate Consultant for the firm. He has opined on issues/handled assignments pertaining to Mergers /Acquisition, Infrastructure and other corporate matters pertaining to Takeovers, Amalgamation.
He oversees the firms advocacy matters which includes but not Limited to labour law and trade disputes as well as recovery of possession and debts in courts and via Appropriate government agencies.
She is the founder of the firm. She was admitted to the Nigerian Bar in 2003.
She started her carreer as a counsel in the law firm of Adewole Sulaiman & Co in 2003 and rose to the position of Associate Counsel; Corporate Commercial practice. Before assuming that responsibility, she had served in the various departments such as the litigation, corporate commercial/secretarial and administrative departments as is the culture in the firm which enabled her gather relevant experience in those area before settling in the corporate commercial as head due to proven successes on behalf of the firm.
One of her notable assignments was being the firm’s representative as Company Secretary to Acen Insurance Company Plc from 2004-2007 where she developed the requisite skill set and expertise as a chartered company secretary and Board management skills.
In 2008, she was engaged as a Senior Associate in the firm Legal direct and managed the Corporate Commercial and commercial litigation department until 2012 when she set up the firm Adroit & Deft.
She has handled litigation in Insurance Law, Labour Law, recovery of possession, debt recovery and matrimonial causes in various courts including the High Courts in Nigeria and the Court of Appeal.
In the course of practice, she has developed her core competence in Corporate Commercial, secretarial services and governance practice and was the Assistance Financial Secretary of the Lagos State Chapter of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria 2012- 2014, Membership Mobilization Secretary in 2018-2020 and is currently the Treasurer of the Lagos State Chapter as a volunteer service dedicated to the continuing education and advancement of Chartered Secretaries and Governance Practitioners in Nigeria.
Under her lead, the firm presently retained as external Company Secretary /Legal Adviser for various corporations in the hospitality, manufacturing, construction, stock broking and oil and gas industry.
She is well experienced in drafting of legal documentations as well as the settling and preparing of legal pleadings and is a Notary Public.
